Pesce & Farina - Trezzano sul Naviglio

Ho scoperto da poco un posto in cui mangiare pesce freschissimo vicino a Milano, a Trezzano sul Naviglio. E' un posto molto carino, arredato in modo caratteristico e con un bel bancone di pesce fresco in mostra all'ingresso. Non è molto grande per cui conviene prenotare, anche in settimana, visto il successo che sta avendo! Oltre ai piatti di pesce, fa anche delle pizze particolari.

Ci sono stata due volte (per ora!) e ho trovato due menu diversi. Ogni giorno poi hanno diversi tipi di pesce fresco.

Io adoro il pesce e i frutti di mare in tutti i modi e da Pesce & Farina nel menù ci sono tanti piatti stuzzicanti per una buona forchetta come me!

La prima volta ho avuto una sorpresa pazzesca: ho potuto assaggiare per la prima volta la pasta con i ricci di mare!!! Chi mi segue da un po' conosce la mia passione per i ricci e la voglia che avevo di provare questo piatto.

Avevo paura di rimanere delusa, che non fossero freschi e buoni come quelli appena pescati e invece... Ho mangiato un piatto di pasta favoloso!!!

I ricci hanno un sapore dolciastro e allo stesso tempo di mare, molto particolare. Caratteristico, ma delicato e devo dire che si sposano benissimo con la pasta.

Come antipasto ho preso delle alici fritte con cipolle caramellate. Fritto leggero e buonissimo! E poi ho spizzicato un po' dagli altri e ho assaggiato del filetto di orata e le linguine all'astice... Con mezzo astice! Una bomba!!!

Ho scoperto questo posto alla fine di un viaggio con la mia famiglia e, appena abbiamo avuto l'occasione di essere di nuovo tutti riuniti, ci siamo tornati per festeggiare l'occasione.

Anche stavolta c'erano dei piatti veramente particolari da assaggiare e alla fine ho optato per una tartare di salmone con fichi per antipasto e un bel piatto di pasta alla chitarra "Pesce & Farina" che in pratica è uno scoglio con i pomodorini freschi.

Il salmone freschissimo e molto tenero e l'abbinamento col fico è stato davvero azzeccato. Una particolarità da cui si capisce la cura con cui tutto viene preparato è stata l'aggiunta di qualche scaglia di sale grosso sul piatto. Vi chiederete "ma perché mai???". Perché prendendo i pezzi di tartare capitava di tirare su anche qualche scaglietta che aggiungeva quel tocco di sapore salino che si contrapponeva alla dolcezza del fico e anche una consistenza diversa dal resto del piatto.

 

Mia madre di secondo ha preso un calamaro alla griglia... Gigantesco!!! Tenero e cotto alla perfezione. Mia sorella invece il filetto di Pesce San Pietro.

La vera rivelazione della serata sono stati i pesce pettine presi da mio padre. Io forse sono un po' ignorante in materia, ma onestamente non li avevo mai sentiti nominare. Il cameriere ci ha spiegato che si tratta di pesci che si chiamano così per la loro forma e che si nascondono sotto la sabbia quando si spavenano e che sono molto buoni fritti e ce li ha portati al tavolo per farci vedere la dimensione. Aveva proprio ragione... Questi pesci pettine fritti erano qualcosa di pazzesco!!! Infatti mio padre che normalmente è contento di far assaggiare i piatti che prende, stavolta mi ha fatto notare che era già il secondo pezzo che gli chiedevo e che ne aveva dato anche a mia mamma e a mia sorella......! 😅





Insomma... Non vedo l'ora di tornare da Pesce & Farina per provare qualche altra specialità!

I recently discovered a place where to eat fresh fish near Milan, in Trezzano sul Naviglio. It's a very nice place, decorated in a quaint way and with a nice counter of fresh fish at the entrance. It's not very big, so you should book it, even during the week, since it's having a lot of success! In addition to fish dishes, it also makes special pizzas.

I've been there twice (for now!) and found two different menus. Each day they have different types of fresh fish.

I love fish and seafood in all ways and Pesce & Farina (Fish & Flour) has in the menu so many tasty dishes for a good fork like me!

The first time I had a crazy surprise: I could taste the pasta with sea urchins for the first time!!! Those who had followed me for a while know my passion for the sea urchins and the desire that I had to try this dish.
I was scared to be disappointed, that the urchins were not as fresh and good as those just caught and instead... I ate a fabulous pasta dish!!!
Sea urchins have a sweet taste and at the same time of sea, very particular. Characteristic but delicate and I must say that they marry very well with the pasta.

As an appetizer I took fried anchovies with caramelized onions. Light and delicious! And then I tooked a bit from the others and tasted bream and linguine... With half a lobster! A bomb!!!

I discovered this place at the end of a trip with my family and, once we had the chance to be all together again, we came back to celebrate the occasion.

Even this time there were really special dishes to taste and in the end I opted for a salmon tartare appetizer with figs and a nice guitar pasta dish "Pesce & Farina" which was small tomatoes, shrimps, musslels and clams.
The salmon was fresh and very tasty and the match with the figs is really worth a try. A peculiarity from which you can understand the cure with which everything is prepared is the addition of some large salt scales on the plate. You will ask "but why???". Because while taking the pieces of tartare it was also possible to draw on some salt that added that touch of salty taste that was contrasted with the sweetness of the figs and also a different consistency from the rest of the dish.

 

My mother took a grilled squid... Gigantic!!! Tender and cooked to perfection. My sister instead took the Saint Peter's fish fillet.

The true revelation of the evening was the fried comb fishes taken by my father. Maybe I'm a bit ignorant about the matter, but I honestly never heard of them. The waiter explained us that they are fishes that are called this way for their shape and that they hide under the sand when they're scared and they are very tasty if fried and brought them to the table to let us see the size. He was right... These fried fishes were something crazy!!! In fact my father who is normally happy share the dishes he takes, this time made me note that it was already the second piece I asked him and that he had also given some to my mom and my sister......! 😅




In short... I cannot wait to go back to Pesce & Farina to try some other specialties!
