Perché "Diary of a Cinnamon Roll"? Perché nonostante i dolci non mi facciano impazzire, adoro la cannella e adoro questi dolci sofficiosi! Non li fanno dappertutto, per cui ogni volta che ne trovo uno in giro faccio i salti di gioia.
Non ho ancora provato a farli, ma prima o poi mi cimenterò nell'impresa. Per il momento mi limito a suggerirvi un posticino dove a volte li ho trovati ed erano semplicemente meravigliosi!
Se vi dovesse capitare di passare da Berlino e se andate matti per questi dolcetti alla cannella, andate in Chausseestraße, all'angolo con Wöhlertstraße. Purtroppo non ho fatto foto del locale (solamente del cinnamon roll!) e non mi ricordo il nome. È un baretto/rosticceria dove fanno sia cose dolci che salate.
Se qualcuno dovesse passare di li e dovesse riconoscerlo, scrivetemi! :)
Why "Diary of a Cinnamon Roll"? Because despite desserts don't drive me mad, I love cinnamon and I love these supersoft sweets! They can't be found anywhere, so every time I find one around I jump for joy.
I haven't tried to make them, but sooner or later I'll try this enterprise. For the moment I will only suggest a place where sometimes I found them and they were just wonderful! If you happen to go to Berlin and if you go crazy for these cakes with cinnamon, go to Chausseestraße corner of Wöhlertstraße. Unfortunately I didn't take photos of the local (only of the cinnamon roll!) and I can't remember the name. It's a little bar/deli where they make both sweet and savory things.
